The School of Clinical Medicine is one of the premier schools playing main role of teaching and research in Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
The school is well established in four majors: Traditional Chinese Medicine for both arts and sciences undergraduates, Traditional Chinese Medicine specializing in Orthopedics and Traumatology,Traditional Chinese Medicine specializing in Uighur Medicine,and Chinese and Western Clinical Medicine.And Traditional Chinese Medicine is the long-established superior major in the university, which was awarded “excellent brand of higher education for undergraduates”in Jiangxi Province in 2002, and authorized characteristic-constructing specialty of higher education in Jiangxi Province in 2007.
The graduates of the school working all over China,with the approximate number of 10,000, have been dedicating to the development of Chinese Medicine for the past 55 years.
The school is equipped with a strong dedicated and experienced teaching staff with a number of 332, including11 doctoral mentors,147 professors,and associate professors.Among them, there are 189 teachers having master's degrees,31 having PhDs and Postdoctorals,15 granted special government allowances.Some of the professors, with high academic reputation, have been invited to give lectures abroad.
The School of Clinical Medicine attaches great importance to teaching activities and academic research. It has17teaching groups,and is accredited with 1 Doctoral degree authorization,12 Master’s degrees authorization,and eight key related disciplines by the State Administration of TCM.
