JiangxiUniversity of Traditional Chinese Medicine has been approved by the Ministry ofEducation as one of the first 200 higher learning institutes eligible to admitstudents from foreign countries and Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao. Since 1993 ouruniversity has received nearly two thousand long and shortterm students from foreign countries including India, Pakistan, Nepal,Malaysia, Sweden, South Korea, Japan, Syria, France, Australia, Bulgaria, USA,etc and from regions of Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao. For years, our universityhas been taking the lead province wide in terms of the number and educationquality of international students. Since 2009, our university has been awardedas an advanced unit for international education of Jiangxi Province for fourconsecutive years. Also in 2009, our university was awarded as an advancedgroup for the education of foreign students by the Ministry of Education. In2013 and 2014, our university was approved respectively to accept students fromHong Kong without requiring entrance examinations and students of ChineseGovernment Scholarship Program.

We haveestablished collaborative bachelor programs in TCM with the colleges anduniversities in Sweden, Bulgaria, Australia, Malaysia, India, Brazil, Hong Kong,and Taiwan, and have developedfriendly and cooperative relationship with medical and educational institutionsin over 20 countries and regions. In recent years our university hasachieved some progress in the field of Sino-foreign collaborative education andsigned agreements on nursing bachelor or junior college level program withuniversities in USA and Philippine. In 2011, the university and ThomasUniversity jointly established a nursing bachelor program; in 2014, themarketing bachelor program in collaboration with University of Bolton wasapproved; in 2015, the first Confucius institute of the university, Confucius Instituteat Semyung University, opened in Korea.

InternationalEducation College, established in 2002, formerlynamed International Exchange Department and renamed International EducationCollege in 2003, is committed to promoting international education, cooperationand exchange affairs with foreign countries and Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao.Its major responsibilities include international exchanges and cooperation;enrollment, education and management of international students and studentsfrom Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao; English training andother foreign affairs. Our college boasts a complete organization for foreign affairsas well as education and training of international students, and is equippedwith a professionally well-structured and experienced management team. Throughyears of practice, International Education College is experienced in teachingthe international students in different foreign languages including English,French, Korean and Japanese. Advanced Tele-education combined with multimediahas also been adopted in teaching.
